In Memories of a Glacier, Francesca Borgo brings forth a powerful reflection on the delicate interplay between permanence and transformation. This large-scale piece invites us into a suspended landscape—where matter shifts, dissolves, and recomposes itself in silence.

Created with acrylic and sand on linen, the surface is shaped through Borgo’s poetic hand, evoking natural textures that feel both tactile and ethereal. The sweeping waves and layered gradients suggest glacial movement, eroded terrain, or even the weight of memory pressing gently against time.

The monochrome palette reinforces a sense of introspection and timelessness, inviting the viewer to slow down and connect with what lies beneath the surface. What can a wasp teach us about art, memory, and matter?

At the core of CO-Lapses lies a quiet yet profound observation: mud wasps gathering pigments from the walls of Karma Barnes’ studio—harvesting ochres, reds, and earthen greys to build their layered nests. Their gesture becomes the origin of a work where human and nonhuman intelligence meet.

This suspended installation, composed of ten clay and pigment vessels, slowly releases streams of sand collected from Bundjalung Country (Australia) and Venice (Italy). Over time, the pigment accumulates on the ground, forming a shifting, temporal landscape.
CO-Lapses invites us to consider time across geological, biological, and cultural scales. It honours the subtle ecologies around us and positions the wasp not as metaphor, but as co-creator.
The pigments used carry the histories of land, flood, fire, and transformation. This is not inert material, it is memory in motion.

Here, art becomes a site where geological memory, biological gesture, and cultural histories converge—unfolding through sedimented time.

Metanoia, from the Ancient Greek for spiritual transformation, marks a journey from one state of being to another. In this series, painted elements become moving structures—mechanisms that breathe, repeat, and regenerate like a mantra or silent prayer.

Through sparse and deliberate abstraction, Bezinović constructs a visual language rooted in typography, pre-Romanesque architecture, icon painting, and echoes of ancient Greek vases and Yugoslav concrete monuments.

These forms do not tell a story—they strip figuration away to reach a space of perception. Repetition becomes a rhythm of inner searching, where transformation unfolds not through meaning, but through mystery.

ORGANIC TISSUE: An Anatomy of Shared Memory and Radical Tenderness

What does it mean to create in times of rupture?

Organic Tissue, presented at @telavivartistshouse , is not merely an exhibition—it is a collective heartbeat. A space where identity is offered not as fixed, but as fluid; where grief, ritual, resilience, and intimacy weave a living network of artistic voices.

At the center of the exhibition stands Organic Tissue / Central Installation, a conceptual anchor by @d_m_b_studio that brings together photographic fragments of bodies from diverse communities—an abstract tower suspended in space, both connective and gravitational. Around it, works by @assiaoof @_polymer_ @macdasi @ha.la.s @opspitz and @ronitkeret unfold in sonic, tactile, performative, and sculptural gestures—each one carrying its own emotional voltage, yet resonating together as a shared anatomy.

🧵 Threaded with themes of mourning, multiplicity, presence, sound, and memory, Organic Tissue invites us to encounter art not as object, but as living tissue. It asks: how do we care for one another in fragmented times? How do we hold contradiction, and create space for tenderness as a form of resistance?

At Bourse de Commerce, Paris, French artist Céleste Boursier-Mougenot presents clinamen, an immersive sound and water installation that occupies the museum’s central rotunda.

Eighteen meters wide, the circular basin is framed by Tadao Ando’s monumental concrete structure and open to the light of the sky above. Floating on its surface, white ceramic bowls gently collide as they follow a subtle current — creating spontaneous, melodic sounds.

Conceived as a space for rest and reflection, clinamen invites visitors to slow down and listen.

The Luminous Void

Study for an installation.
Black spheres in suspended silence. Fractured, they reveal not destruction, but inner light; a metaphor for the sacred act of breaking open, where vulnerability becomes the gateway for consciousness.

In Sanskrit, śūnyatā means void, not as absence, but as a space full of potential, the silent source from which form emerges.

The black spheres are embodied voids. Their surfaces reflect the viewer, turning observation into self-confrontation. You see yourself mirrored in the darkness, framed by a crack of light.

They absorb all light yet conceal illumination within, echoing the idea that form is emptiness and emptiness is form.

The crack is not an end. It is a portal
Not outward, but inward
